Our purpose
Contract Law Ontario exists to help Ontario residents and business owners make sense of common contract-law questions — from what makes an agreement valid, to what happens when one isn’t honoured, to how unpaid invoices are typically pursued. The goal is plain-English, practical information that helps you understand a situation before you decide what to do next.

Contract Law Ontario is not a law firm, a lawyer referral service, or a government website. It does not provide personalized legal advice, and using this site does not create a lawyer-client relationship. It also does not offer city-specific pages — the site is built to serve Ontario as a whole.
